Hungary, Year of the Dog,

This cover was used a Dog year stamps from the minisheet of 4.

As it is the case with more and more European Postal Administrations (is it a good thing ?), the Hungarian Post (Magyar Posta) is devoting, since 2014 (Year of the Horse), each beginning of the year a series to the new year acoording to the lunar calendar...

On Febuary 2018, a souvenir sheet consisting of 4 stamps (400 HUF each - postage of a standard letter up to 20 g or postcard to worldwide countries) was put into circulation to celebrate the new Year of the Dog which began the following day.
