Taiwan, Lunar New Year maxicard,

Lunar new year stamps in the past were used for this mail. They was issed in minisheet of 12 lunar zodiac signs released in 1993, Year of the Rooster. I can see the Horse one ( 1990, my year).

This one was chopped the special postmark. It was for the last day of Rooster Year 2017, 31 Dec. Such a lovely mother with her eggs.

Aland, Year of the Dog 2018

 Year of the Dog from Aland reached my home. From year of the Goat, Aland post released annually stamps to celebrate the lunar new year. And they are my favorite ones.

Year of the Monkey. the stamp was issued as EUROPA stamp (traditional toy).

The letter was posted from Finland with a set of maxicard, a minisheet inside.

Vietnam, Year of the Dog card, birthday postmark date,

My birthday this time was a busy day at work to me. I know not much people remember about that date and I have no gift, no special for this event. Just like every day. Not much important. 

But to remind myself about my birthday, I made these two Year of the Dog postcard, chopped a clear cancellation with the date.

These cards I got from Xu Wei. He is living in China. He was present at the Dog year issue's presentation show in Hanoi ( first day of Dec). What kind of him. He offered Vietnamese collectors these Year of the Dog postcards. In Vietnam, they do not release any cards for lunar new year. More information, he is one of my first swappers. First time we swapped was for 12.12.2012 event, 5 years ago.

Russia, FIFA 2018 World cup cover,

This cover I got with the FIFA 2018 World cup stamp. The wolf is picked as the animal sign for this time. 

This flower maxicard was sent inside the cover. I still remember my days in France, one day in spring, I got out of my domitory in the freezing weather, but I could see somewhere in the yard this flower was blooming. I falled in love with this flower immediatlu. They look so awesome. In french, it is called "Perce-neige". 

She offered this card as well. A very nice one with the rooster on. I don't know about the story about the man and the rooster on card but I think it should be interesting. I used it with the rooster year stamp of Vietnam, dropped the postmark of last day of 2017 from my hometown, during my holiday.

China, Gold and Bronze Buddha statues Maxicards,

 I must say that I am not a buddhism but I love every thing related to Buddhism in ancient art. These ones are example. Cards with matching stamps show the Gold and Bronze buddha statues from China.

France, Carnet des 12 zodiacs lunairs

 This one is gift from my friend living in France. He gave me a 12 lunar sign booklet. 

This booklet designed by Li Zhongyao, was issued in 2017, year of the Rooster. 

About the lunar new year stamp of LaPoste, they released a serie from 2005 (Year of the Rooster) to 2016 (Year of the Monkey), a circle of 12 animal signs. All of them was designed by Li Zhongyao, a chinese artist. LaPoste said once that lunar new year serie would be released in one 12-year-circle, and the artist Li had contract with LaPoste for ten year. Actually, Mr Li designed for that serie up to 12 years. And it seems that there are still a lot of clients waiting for lunar year stamp from LaPoste so they continued with this one. 

For 2018, year of the Dog, there is no sign from LaPoste for their clients till now.

This FDC was used the Horse sign from the booklet with the first day postmark. I was born in year of the Horse and the sender still remember it.

Merci bien de te souvenir que j'adore tous ce qui concernent à mon zodiac lunair, le cheval. Mille fois merci de m'offrir ce carnet. Ca fait assez longtemps que j'ai rien de noef dans ma collection de timbre francais. 

Il y a quelque jours, en arrangeant ma boite de lettre, j'ai trouvé la carte postale de Yersin que tu m'a envoyé comme un cadeau pendant mon hébergement en France. Tu m'as dit que si j'avais la chance pour visiter Paris, tu m'aurais invité un bol de Phở parisien. Oui j'ai la chance pour y aller pour passer mes vacances avec mes amis mais un rencontre avec toi, on a eu pas de chance. J'espère qu'un jour, ca sera possible. N'oublier pas tes paroles mon uncle.

Bonne année à toi pour l'année du chien. Avec tout mon coeur.

Vietnam, First mail of 2018,

This is my first mail in this year. My friend in Saigon sent me a dog cover. Actualy, domestic Registered mail or EMS mail in Vietnam, the stamp is not allowed for the postage fee. But you still can use some for decoration only. 

She gave me a lot of awesome flower stamps. I collect the definitive flower stamps. German ones are in my favorite list.
