Cover#171 Vietnam, Poet Xuan Dieu. Valentine's day stamp;

Ngô Xuân Diệu (February 2, 1916 – December 18, 1985) more commonly known by the pen name Xuân Diệu, was a prominent Vietnamese poet. A colossal figure in modern Vietnamese literature, he wrote about 450 poems (largely in posthumous manuscripts) especially love poems, several short stories, and many notes, essays, and literary criticisms.

This stamp is considered as the first Valentine's day stamp of Vietnam because Xuan Dieu is known as one of great vietnamese poet of love.

This card was used both of self-adhesive Monkey Year stamps. Actually, the monkey one is for domestic mail and the monkey mask is for international mail so with the both, it is over the postage fee.
There is another difference between self-adhesive and normal stamps. Dont have any visuel effet on self-adhesive stamps.

This one make me remember about my days in France. I often used much of stamps at low price such as 1 eurocent, 5 eurocent to correct the postage. And that 's why my mail always had lot of stamps.
