Cover#207 Malaysia, Year of the Rooster 2017 FDC

This  FDC arrived before the lunar new year. The fdc postmark dated 10 Jan but the machine postmark dated 11 Jan, my birthday. It often happens when we let the fdc in the post box.


On the bottom of FDC, there is a signature of designer Ky Lim.

This card is a give-away from Sharon. I really love this flowers as wild flowers are my favorite. The card shows Wahlenbergia.

Wahlenbergia

Wahlenbergia is a genus of between 150–270 species of flowering plants in the family Campanulaceae, with a cosmopolitan distribution except for North America; the highest species diversity is in Africa and Australasia. Wahlenbergia species have dispersed widely, even to oceanic islands, and there are four species known from the island of Saint Helena, including the now extinct species W. roxburghii. The genus was named after Göran Wahlenberg (a Swedish botanist who taught at Uppsala University) by German botanist H. A. Schrader (Heinrich Schrader), in 1814.

Cover#206 Germany, St. Nicolas FDC,

This cover was chopped the special postmark to celebrate the Saint Nicolas festival, dated 6 Dec.
Unfortunatly, the post had not much time so they could not well care all cover. The postmark hided all stamps.
